Il file log di Apache viene memorizzato nella cartella /log/access.log forma:
Per analizzarlo si può scaricare il file nel proprio pc ed aprirlo con un editor di testo (come notepadd++) oppure con questo software http://www.apacheviewer.com/
Il formato del file è il seguente "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-agent}i\"" combined
- %h rappresenta l'host remoto (es. IP del client)
- %l is the identity of the user determined by identd (not usually used since not reliable)
- %u is the user name determined by HTTP authentication
- %t is the time the server finished processing the request.
- %r is the request line from the client. ("GET / HTTP/1.0")
- %>s è lo status code mandato dal server al client (200, 404 etc.)
- %b è la dimensione della risposta mandata al client (in bytes)
- Referer is the page that linked to this URL.
- User-agent è la stringa di identificazione del browser .
